Excel Recruitment has a wonderful opportunity for a Sourcing Manager to join our market-leading food client’s business. Supporting the Head of Sourcing, you will develop and implement direct sourcing of your brands or product categories for our clients, a 100% Irish-owned retail and food service business. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic buying office environment, with real opportunities for progression. Dublin/Cork based.

Responsibilities
* Identify and deliver the best-value own brand products for retail and wholesale, ensuring quality and low cost.
* Plan and manage the annual sourcing calendar to meet business needs on time and at the right cost.
* Lead tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and secure contracts for your categories at the lowest cost.
* Agree on pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to reduce cost and guarantee supply.
* Support Buying Group projects through all tender stages to deliver quality products at the best price.
* Suggest improvements to simplify processes and make the business more efficient.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support sourcing success.
* Track market trends, manage budgets, and update the business regularly on savings and project progress.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years Sourcing/Buying experience.
* Business-focused 3rd Level Qualification.
* Experience in planning, strategic sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management.
* Strong project management and leadership skills.
* Understanding of requirements for importing into Ireland.
* Understanding of market trends and sound business judgement.
* Attention to detail, ability to prioritise, comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data.
