Role Summary
As an Automation Engineer at Novintix Technologies, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation systems supporting regulated MedTech manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Operations to deliver scalable, compliant, and reliable automation solutions. The role involves driving continuous process improvements, designing robust automation architectures, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality projects in accordance with GMP, GAMP 5, and industry regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation systems
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to automation engineers
Integrate automation solutions with existing manufacturing equipment
Lead technical discussions with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Manage project timelines, coordination, and technical deliverables
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, CE, OSHA, and NFPA standards
Drive quality, safety, and engineering best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering
8+ years of experience in industrial automation
Strong hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA
Proven experience in technical leadership and team mentoring
Exposure to automation project execution and vendor coordination
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
CAP certification – preferred but not mandatory
