We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team in Ireland.
About the Role:
* Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals, overseeing accounts payable, treasury, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
* Develop and implement effective cashflow management strategies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Responsible for preparing and reviewing all general ledger accounting at month end, including intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet preparation.
* Play a key role in the year-end audit, ensuring all necessary files are prepared and acting as the primary point of contact with external auditors.
* Assist in statutory compliance, including accounting and tax requirements.
* Involved in the year-end budget process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Lead the finance team in driving process excellence and engaging with the business to achieve strategic goals.
Requirements:
* Previous management experience essential, ideally including transactional finance personnel management.
* Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize time effectively, and provide clear direction to team members.
* Experience using integrated ERP systems, preferably IFS, and strong computer skills, especially advanced Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions.
