AtkinsRéalis, one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the management and delivery of small to large-scale energy infrastructure schemes throughout Ireland.
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, preferably from a design consultancy background, with demonstrated expertise in all phases of planning, design, and construction.
The role involves working closely with industry-leading clients and stakeholders, managing work-winning, overseeing delivery, client management, financial management, and technical aspects such as site/route optioneering and appraisal, statutory approval documentation, contract documentation, and construction management.
Your responsibilities include: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services in accordance with relevant standards and codes.Applying technical expertise in developing linear infrastructure through all project stages: Optioneering, Preliminary Design, Planning, Detailed Design, Procurement, and Construction.Possessing or nearing Chartered status.Managing multi-disciplinary teams effectively.Leading projects within budgets and schedules, controlling costs, and managing change processes.Collaborating with colleagues, clients, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.Building and maintaining client relationships.Challenging the status quo and thinking innovatively.Managing clients and external stakeholders effectively, both technically and commercially, preferably with experience in Ireland/UK.Holding a full Irish/EU driving license.Ideal candidate qualities: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Flexible, able to multitask and prioritize effectively.Positive, approachable, and motivated.Capable of working independently or as part of a team.About AtkinsRéalis: We prioritize Environment, Sustainability, and Health & Safety.
