As a Senior Transport Coordinator, you will creating and managing/monitoring the day-to-day planning of catering loading in respect of daily flight rotations and reacting to changes in the flight schedule to ensure flights are catered in a timely manner. Our Catering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus' ambition by to drive Aer Lingus' ambition by focusing on procedural, planning and development initiatives in terms of Security, Health & Safety, Air Safety and HACCP
The Responsibilities:
* Prepare the crew rotation sheets and the crew allocation sheets on a daily basis and upload all crewing information to FIDS screens
* Manage/Monitor day-to-day planning of catering loading in respect of daily flight rotations and daily loading crew sheets, with an emphasis on efficient rostering & minimising overtime requirement.
* Manage daily uploading of catering allocations to FIDS screens via BATS application and adjust to reflect schedule changes / aircraft swaps.
* Ensure all drivers remain compliant with (WTD) Working Time Directive legislation & are compliant with RSA driving hours legislation
* Ensure compliance with all tachograph regulations
* Monitor potential delay hazards & plan early mitigations to avoid schedule disruption.
* Central link with OCC, Station Control, Ground Ops, Dnata & M50 garage to ensure OTP protection.
* Monitor / plan for updated flight scheduling information in respect of charter flights & ad-hoc flight patterns.
* Be a key point of contact within the catering transport team liaising with drivers, management & external bodies.
* Manage return to work process, ensuring all absences are recorded, return to work meetings are conducted and correct forms are filled out.
* Support roster production for drivers & transport office.
* Manage accident / incident reporting, ensuring all incidents / accidents are input to safety net and relevant departments / people are informed.
* Manage delay reporting & represent catering on the daily operations call.
* Ensure all security declaration/ check sheets for each flight are complete and signed by loaders.
* Manage the teams to ensure effective on time performance

The Requirments
* Current full clean "C" license plus up to date CPC and drivers' card.
* Ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related Airline / Flight Catering position – with Ramp experience preferred.
* Ability to react to last minute changes to schedule and remain calm while working in a pressurised environment.
* A calm, organised pro-active approach to the job is required with strong planning and multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, energetic and driven to working to deadlines.
* Excellent administration skills combined with well-developed planning and prioritising skills.
* Strong computer skills and knowledge of Aer Lingus Operations systems. Knowledge of AIMS & ASTRAL a key advantage – training will be provided for suitable candidate

* Excellent people skills with the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to assess problems and make clear cut and evaluated decisions quickly for effective problem-solving to minimise disruption.
