Production Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered on time.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with other area supervisors and team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to meet customer demand and production schedules
* Ensure continuous supply of components to the production line by communicating with stores and purchasing areas
* Liaise with outside suppliers for processing of parts
* Meet all production targets as outlined by KPIs and populate target boards to monitor daily progress
You will address and resolve issues affecting production, including quality, performance, processes, equipment, materials, and labour. You will also coordinate staff planned absences, produce monthly reviews, and provide training and development opportunities to your team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
