We are seeking a Junior Power BI Developer to join our growing data and digital function.
This role is suited to a candidate with approximately 2+ years' experience in business intelligence or data analytics who is looking to further develop their skills in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.
You will work closely with teams across project controls, commercial, finance, and operations to develop insightful dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across cutting-edge data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support construction and data centre projects
Model, transform, and cleanse data using Power Query (M) and DAX
Combine data from multiple sources such as Excel, ERP systems, project management tools, and SQL databases
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable visual reports
Support data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting outputs
Assist with automation of recurring and manual reporting processes
Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and reporting processes
Apply and promote best practices in BI development and data visualisation
Requirements
2+ years' experience in a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or BI-related role
Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI in a professional environment
Solid understanding of: data modelling concepts, DAX and Power Query (M), SQL or other data querying tools (desirable)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Interest in working within construction, engineering, or data centre infrastructure projects
Experience with integrating AI (Copilot) with Power BI semantic models for Q&A across reporting
