Job Title: Radiology Assistant
Description:
A highly skilled and motivated Radiology Assistant is sought to join our team at UPMC Whitfield Hospital in Waterford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the Radiography Department in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
* Welcome patients and their guardians to the imaging service in a professional manner.
Routine Maintenance of Equipment: The successful candidate will assist with routine maintenance tasks such as reporting faults or problems encountered to the Radiography Service Manager or deputy.
Administrative Support: The role requires excellent administrative skills including answering telephone calls, taking accurate messages to pass on to relevant staff members. Registration of requests onto RIS system along with maintaining stock records are also essential duties.
The selected candidate should have previous experience working within a healthcare environment especially radiography departments preferred but not mandatory A Fetac/QQI Level 5 in Health/Social Care is essential for this post With an ability work independently whilst being part effective teamwork member you're perfect fit!
