MCS Group are working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Technician to join their technical and production support team.This is a key role within the business, focused on quality, testing and mix optimisation, supporting both production and engineering teams. You will play an important part in ensuring product consistency, resolving technical issues and maintaining high-quality standards across all operations.The RoleAs Quality Technician, you will be responsible for testing, monitoring and improving product performance, working closely with plant operators, engineers and production teams.You will;Carry out routine concrete testing including slump, air content, temperature and strength testing in line with standardsMonitor and adjust mixes, troubleshooting issues and supporting mix developmentLiaise with plant operators, factory staff and engineers to ensure consistency and quality of productionMaintain accurate records, reports and ISO documentation for all testing and quality processesSupport the upkeep and calibration of laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with H&S and industry standardsWhat's in it for you;Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to take ownership of quality and testing within a growing technical teamHands-on role combining site, lab and production exposureThe Ideal Candidate;Experience working with concrete, construction materials or within a testing/lab environmentKnowledge of concrete technology, mix design and testing methodsFamiliarity with relevant standards and quality procedures (e.g. BS EN, ISO)Strong attention to detail with good reporting and documentation skillsFull details will be discussed upon application.Are you a Quality Technician open to new opportunities?
