Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Day to day responsibility of the children in the service in conjunction with the team
* Ensure child safety at all times, in conjunction with the team
* Liaise with the Room Leader and childcare team around work to be completed
* Communicate effectively - written & oral
* Work as part of a team
* Work with the other staff to ensure curriculum is carried out daily
* Give input to the curriculum e.g. ideas for activities
* Promote all areas of child development: physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional & social
* Carry out all work under Aistear & Siolta standards
* Follow the policies & procedures of the service at all times
