Financial Accountant
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to join our client's high-performing finance team in Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where growth, mentorship, and long-term development are key values.
About You
* ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience (practice or industry)
* Strong proficiency in SAGE200 and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Passionate about learning, growing, and taking ownership
* A strong sense of integrity and accountability
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts
2. Producing quarterly management accounts and monthly reporting packs
3. Performing Trial Balance and account reconciliations
4. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stocktakes
5. Preparing VAT returns and supporting with customs and excise requirements
6. Assisting with cost analysis and weekly payroll reporting
7. SUPPORTING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ACROSS FINANCIAL SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
