Regional Safety Manager Role
We are seeking a seasoned Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our team in the Leinster region. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the safety function both internally and externally.
About the Job
This is a crucial role that requires collaboration with Regional Directors, Project Directors, and Project Managers to support building projects. You will lead a team of safety advisors and work closely with them to implement a forward-thinking and progressive approach to safety.
* Assist in developing and rolling out company strategy
* Audit workplaces at a frequency that aligns with policy
* Raise concerns to Project Managers and directors when necessary
* Monitor Health and Safety performance within the Business Unit and prepare reports
* Advise on Health and Safety submissions and provide practical solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in a senior health and safety position within the building construction industry
* A third-level qualification in health and safety or occupational health and safety
* Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills
* Experience with IT and digital technology
