Construction Site Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Site Manager to lead our team in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage site staff and sub-contractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within the agreed scope.
Liaise with site management to deliver project plans and schedules.
Oversee the design team to ensure best value and buildable solutions.
Manage quality and customer expectations, adhering to building regulations and standards.
Provide regular reports to senior management on programme, H&S, quality, and budget.
Create prioritised plans for the crew and sub-contractors.
Liaise with utility providers and warranty companies.
Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations, and good building practice.
Maintain Health and Safety requirements and lead continuous improvement.
Carry out operations in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Manage project programmes and monitor progress on site.
Regularly assess progress to ensure adherence to forecasted timelines.
Practice workplace safety at all times.
Ensure a presentable and well-maintained site.
Qualification/Certification:
Hold and maintain relevant certifications and authorisations.
Undertake additional training as required by statute or the company.
Skills & Abilities:
Principles and techniques of construction site operations management.
Organising and delegating abilities.
Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Write up reports as reasonably required.
Requirements:
The candidate should have experience in ground services and possess excellent leadership skills.
Additionally, strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
