Chief Operations Director (COD)
A key leadership role at a leading provider of exterior building systems in Limerick.
The Chief Operations Director will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run efficiently, on time, and within budget. They will work closely with senior leaders to implement strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement while monitoring 100 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Oversee project management, procurement, logistics, quality control, safety, and customer service.
* Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
* Project Oversight: Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with timelines, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
* Team Development & Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and teams.
* Financial Management: Work closely with the finance team to ensure operational budgets are adhered to and financial performance is optimized.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 8–10 years of operational leadership experience, ideally in the construction space.
* Proven track record of successfully managing exterior projects from inception through to completion.
* Experience in managing diverse teams, budgets, and complex project timelines.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or strong operational experience ideally in Construction.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think strategically and drive operational improvements.
