Tara Care Centre is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to dignity, respect, and excellence.
Please note: Due to current workforce permit regulations, applicants must hold an EU passport or have full permission to work in Ireland.
About the Role
The Healthcare Assistant position involves providing daily personal care and support to residents in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. Duties include:
* Morning and evening personal care
* Assisting residents with mobility and transferring
* Toileting and continence support
* Assisting with meals and hydration
* Social engagement, communication, and meaningful activities
* Working collaboratively with the wider care team to enhance resident wellbeing
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Requirements
* EU Passport / Full permission to work in Ireland
* Good level of English (spoken and written)
* Punctual, reliable, and professional
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and follow care plans and policies
* Genuine interest in supporting older persons
