From refineries to distribution centers to retail stores, we help deliver results while improving worker safety and meeting sustainability goals such as reduced carbon emissions – by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation and asset performance management solutions.We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets.Key ResponsibilitiesReviewing, drafting, negotiating and administering projects documents including a variety of commercial agreements such as sales and supply of goods & services, framework agreements, co-operation, operations/maintenance, sub-contract and confidentiality agreements.Assisting with the RFP processes for tender or auction; Identify and advise the business teams on recommended steps to mitigate potential contractual and commercial risks, taking into account contracting principles as against actual risks.Communicating and negotiating with customers.Provide strategic direction and legal advice to the Sales, Marketing, ISC and Finance teams to understand and ensure consistency with the business and financial requirements and objectives in all contracts.Providing advice on Regulatory matters. Reviewing marketing and products documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with all laws and regulations.Participate in managing the contracts' review process and compliance activities of the contracting function, including use of contract management tools (LEAP, DocuSign, Workflow etc.), maintenance of contract files, and procedures for contract renewal and extension. Ensuring compliance with company's policies and processes and conducting trainings. Enable continuous improvement and lead initiatives as assigned. Key Skills and QualificationsQualified solicitor in Ireland, the UK, or an EU jurisdiction. LLB/LLM/JDA or equivalent law degree from a top European or US Law School 8 years post-qualification experience (PQE), with mandatory training and/or experience gained in a reputable law firm. Ideal candidates will either currently be in private practice seeking to move in-house, or will have begun their career in private practice before transitioning to an in-house role in recent years.Proven experience of reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts and providing legal support on projects, including dispute resolution, within the Industrial, software technology, process automation, logistic, supply chain and material handling industries and/or construction area. Superior contract negotiation and drafting skills is required.Thorough knowledge of EU and UK regulatory frameworks, including antitrust/competition law, technology regulations, GDPR and broader compliance requirements relevant to commercial and software operationsGood to HaveFluency & drafting ability in English is mandatory. Fluency in other European languages will be considered a strong plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills.An enthusiastic attitude with strong interpersonal skills, process improvement focus and a desire to enhance the business' transactional oversight and contract excellence initiatives.
