We are now looking for a results-driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Head Office in Tramore Road, Cork City.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and paymentsAssist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are accurately recordedCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries in a timely mannerAssist in the preparation of periodic payment runsMonitor and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining positive supplier relationshipsAssist in the implementation and utilisation of accounts payable software and systemsStreamline accounts payable workflows by implementing automation and efficiency improvementsManage and verify weekly staff hours in the internal portal, working with departments to ensure accuracyPerform other related duties and ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance teamPreferred Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesProven experience in accounts payable or a similar roleProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with automated accounts payable solutions is desirable.
