Job Title:
Construction Site Manager - Wicklow
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the day-to-day duties of the fit-out stage of a large residential project in Wicklow. This includes developing detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules in coordination with senior project managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules in coordination with senior project managers and stakeholders.
* Break down the project into tasks, set deadlines, and identify resource requirements.
* Facilitate clear and effective communication between various project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and other relevant records.
* Identify potential risks and challenges that may arise during the project and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans.
* Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards and project specifications.
* Help coordinate and allocate resources, such as labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure the smooth flow of work on the construction site.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in the construction industry or as an engineer with 1+ years of experience in Ireland/UK is also required.
