Job Overview
We are seeking a Branch Manager to provide professional leadership and management within the creche.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote high standards of care and education in the childcare setting.
* Ensure child welfare and needs are met at all times through effective management practices.
* Comply with regulations and guidelines related to childcare services.
* Support staff in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
* Develop positive relationships with staff and parents, fostering a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a broad knowledge of childcare regulations.
Requirements:
* Broad knowledge of childcare regulations and compliance.
* Experience working with children and managing teams in a childcare setting.
* Implementing an Aistear based Curriculum in a dynamic and engaging manner.
* Self-motivated and ability to motivate others towards common goals.
* Strong organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective team collaboration.
* Understanding of financial aspects of running a childcare business, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Leadership skills, enabling effective decision-making and strategy implementation.
* Full clean driving license for flexibility and convenience.
* Minimum FETAC Level 6 award or higher from a recognised body, demonstrating expertise in childcare practices.
* Management qualification an advantage, enhancing leadership capabilities.
* 2 years experience in a management or supervisory role in a childcare setting, ensuring depth of knowledge and understanding.
