A well-established mid-sized main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for a large-scale housing development in Drogheda. This is an excellent opportunity to lead an exciting project and work with a highly regarded contractor in Irelands construction sector. Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety across the site. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. Supervise all on-site activities, including coordinating with trades and suppliers to maintain efficient progress. Work with the Senior Engineer to ensure all technical aspects of the build align with specifications. Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, material records, and safety logs. Conduct regular quality control inspections and promptly address any issues to avoid delays. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues. Requirements: 5+ years experience as a Site Manager, ideally on large-scale residential or housing projects. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety practices. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.
