To utilise resources to their full potential, liaising with the Warehouse Team Leader and Warehouse Operatives to ensure that deliveries leave in a timely manner and in full to meet customer deadlines and quality expectations. To ensure all of both raw materials and finished goods receipts into the warehouse are handled in a timely manner.

How you will impact WestRockThe management of the warehouse and distribution functions to achieve business targets.To problem solve and liaise as necessary to ensure efficiency and smooth running of the distribution facility.Responsibility for the Logistics function and providing operational direction for all EmployeesBalance competing priorities of day to day service requirements with the long term business targets.Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and adherence to legislative requirements.Support the delivery of >99% on time deliveries and ensure warehouse errors do not exceed 0.10%Resolve any arising problems or complaintsEnsure assets are properly maintained and serviced.Successful management of stock control through perpetual inventory cycle counting to >99.9% stock accuracy.Process stock disposalsDeliver service targets to agreed budget valuesMotivate your team to achieve the highest levels of productivity.Deployment of a defined people strategy to drive positive employee engagement, strong front line capability and a KPI / continuous improvement culture.To lead by example and be proactive and encourage others in the pursuit of continuous improvement projects and performance excellence.
