We're seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support and drive a wide range of people-focused initiatives, from recruitment and employee relations to reporting, compliance, and engagement.With 3–4 years of HR experience, you'll bring expertise, initiative, and a passion for supporting employees while partnering with managers to create a positive and productive workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingManage end-to-end recruitment, from drafting job descriptions to interviews and offers.Deliver smooth, engaging onboarding for new starters.Employee Relations & HR SupportAct as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers.Provide advice on policies, contracts, performance, and employee matters.Attendance & Workforce PlanningAttend shift handovers (07:45 & 15:45) to address attendance concerns.Draft and circulate weekly rosters to ensure staffing levels.HR Administration & ComplianceMaintain up-to-date, GDPR-compliant personnel records.Monitor and resolve anomalies in Time & Attendance systems.Oversee leave management, absence tracking, and related reporting.Payroll & ReportingSupport Finance with payroll queries and provide accurate data.Generate HR reports and metrics (e.g., absenteeism, headcount, labour recovery).Engagement, Culture & CommunicationsSupport internal communication initiatives and maintain site communication boards.Coordinate employee engagement and recognition events.Training & DevelopmentSchedule and track training sessions.Ensure accurate records and compliance with training requirements.Policy & ProcessAssist in drafting and updating policies and contracts.Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes.What You'll Bring3–4 years' HR experience in a generalist or advisory role.A relevant 3rd level qualification in HR, Business, or related field.Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment law basics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Desirable:CIPD qualification or working towards.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Familiarity with HRIS or Time & Attendance systems.Why You'll Love Working HereGain hands-on experience across the full HR spectrum.Work closely with managers and leadership to make an impact.Be part of a supportive, collaborative, and growing company.Enjoy opportunities for development and continuous learning.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
