Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter will play a pivotal role in delivering on customer expectations.
Requirements: To carry out the kitchen standard operating procedures to the correct standard; Ensure the highest quality of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen and back of house areas; To remove all refuse from the kitchen and dispose of it in line with agreed procedures; To store all crockery, glassware and cutlery in accordance with departmental standards; To keep the pot wash area in a clean and organised manner ensuring that all pots, pans, etc. are stored in accordance with departmental standards; To ensure all duties are completed prior to going off duty; To follow the agreed HACCP standards as trained; The Person: Previous experience in a busy hotel kitchen Have basic English Be hardworking Have excellent attention to detail Be flexible to work with various shifts Team player
