The Saturday Buffet,
currently airing Saturday mornings from 7am-10am.
The Role
You'll be the voice that starts the weekend for listeners across both counties, delivering a music-driven show featuring local information, what's on guides, listener requests, Ireland's Easiest Quiz, and more. This is a self-operated position requiring technical confidence and the ability to work independently.
Hours:
Saturday mornings, 6am-10am.
Location:
KCLR Studios, Kilkenny (remotes, voice tracking or pre-recording is not an option for this show)
What we're looking for...
* Previous radio experience (desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate)
* Technical self-op capability or willingness to learn quickly
* Excellent communication skills and engaging on-air presence
* Solid understanding of Carlow and Kilkenny geography, communities, and local culture
* Musical knowledge and appreciation across multiple genres
* Self-starter mentality with strong time management
* Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
