About the Role:
As a High-Risk Pregnancy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with high-risk pregnancies. This includes performing initial assessments, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Initial Assessment: Perform thorough assessments of patients with high-risk pregnancies, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
* Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans for each patient, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
* Coordination: Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
* Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on the risks associated with high-risk pregnancies and provide guidance on how to manage these risks.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Advanced Degree: A Master's degree or higher in Nursing or a related field is required.
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in obstetrics, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies.
