We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Leader to join our team as Assistant Director of Sales. In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading business development across meetings, events, and group segments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the implementation of our annual sales plan with a focus on MICE and group business.
2. Manage your own portfolio of key national accounts.
3. Proactively target new business opportunities across the domestic meetings and events market.
4. Support and lead site visits, large-scale events, and client meetings.
5. Oversee the negotiation of contracts and ensure all terms meet our business needs.
6. Mentor and support junior sales team members.
7. Contribute to commercial planning through weekly executive meetings.
8. Use CRM systems to maintain detailed sales activity and forecasting.
9. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
10. Represent us at industry events and networking opportunities.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A minimum of 2 years experience in a hotel sales environment, ideally with strong MICE exposure.
* A proven track record of growing revenue and managing key accounts.
* Excellent commercial awareness and an analytical mindset.
* Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Experience mentoring or supporting a team.
* Highly motivated, organised, and confident in a fast-paced setting.
* A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering quality.
