Deputy Building Services Department Manager
This is a leadership role that combines technical expertise with departmental management responsibilities. The Deputy Department Manager will work closely with the Department Manager to develop and improve the Building Services Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection systems for large-scale projects.
* Responsible for ensuring the quality of discipline deliverables, including checking, using proper forms and work procedures, and performing calculations and software programming tasks.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with other disciplines to enhance collaboration and project outcomes.
* Interact with clients to build positive working relationships and secure future projects or opportunities.
Requirements:
* Education: A relevant engineering degree at Level 8 or higher, with a strong preference for chartership.
* Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in building services or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and building automation systems.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as LEED, PMP, or similar are desirable.
