 
        Cpl are delighted to be recruiting for a leading FinTech firm who are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer.This is a permanent role based in Dublin City Centre, offering the chance to play a key role in shaping the company's QA strategy and automation framework. The ideal candidate will bring bothdeep automation expertiseand a strongdata engineering and investment background, helping to drive quality across complex, data-driven financial solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the design, build, and ongoing improvement of automated testing frameworks for data-focused applications.Define and drive the QA automation strategy across multiple products and technology stacks.Work in close partnership with software engineers, data engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.Embed automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring faster, safer releases.Champion end-to-end testing practices, guaranteeing performance and accuracy of data solutions.Research, evaluate, and implement new testing tools and practices to stay ahead of industry standards.Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Experience & Skills6+ years' experience in QA Automation, ideally within data-rich or financial services environments.Solid background in data engineering or direct experience with large-scale data platforms.Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, Selenium, or similar.Skilled in scripting and building custom automated test solutions.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Hands-on with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g. Jenkins, Git).Desirable ExtrasExperience with cloud-based data platforms or big data ecosystems.Previous exposure to investment management or financial services.Strong SQL and data querying ability.Knowledge of BDD practices.Experience with performance/load testing.EducationA degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline is preferred.What's On OfferPermanent role, based in Dublin City Centre.Hybrid model – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.Attractive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to influence QA strategy in a fast-growing FinTech environment.
