With strong in-house fabrication and erection capabilities, you'll play a key leadership role in driving the estimating function, ensuring accurate and competitive bids that help secure high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the estimating team, ensuring accurate and timely tender submissions Analyse tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for structural steel and construction projects Collaborate with design, production, procurement, and commercial teams to optimise bids Present and negotiate tenders with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Review and improve estimating systems, processes, and cost databases Maintain strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives Requirements: Proven estimating experience within structural steel, heavy fabrication, or construction Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost, risk, and resource planning Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Proficiency with estimating software and advanced Excel skills Full driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required Why Apply?
