As a manufacturing Operative, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of the company's warehouse and distribution centre.

Job title: Chemical Plant Operator
Pay per hour: €***** - €*****
Hours: 8-hour shifts between 08:*******:00, Monday to Friday
Location: Jamestown Road, Dublin 11, serviced by 40E bus route
Contract: Permanent, employed directly with company
Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders, ensuring items are properly labelled and packaged for distribution.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
Material Handling: Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed to move goods within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.
Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors.
Organisational Support: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse by arranging stock, maintaining aisle clearances, and adhering to housekeeping standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices for warehouse operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow, effective communication and successful task completion.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist in various tasks as required, including assisting with special projects, participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a manufacturing Operative or in a similar role within the pharma or chemical sector is advantageous but not essential.
Counterbalance forklift licence required for this role.
Manual handling certificate required for this role.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and orders.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
Reliable transportation to the North Dublin location.
