MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE | €13.70 to €15.07 per hour depending on qualifications
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join our busy Technical Services Team.
Responsibilities
* Attending call outs to guest accommodation as well as the on-site guest and staff facilities
* Carrying out and completing tasks and resolving maintenance issues
* Ensuring that any work not completed is communicated via a shift book and/or job sheet
* Consulting with the Technical Services Management Team on work issues which may cause future problems
* Carrying out general maintenance and planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
* Rectifying any health and safety issues
* Excellent communication skills are required, along with practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance.
Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport. If you plan to use public transport, please plan your journey.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.

Essential requirements:
* Practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance
* Attention to detail
* Full Driving Licence
Desirable requirements:
* ISRM qualification (National Spa Pool Plant Operators certificate) / PWTAG accredited Pool Plant Operators Course
* NFQ award in a Construction or Engineering trade or equivalent
