We have an exciting opportunity for a strong Bookkeeper or Company Accountant with a manufacturing/ construction company based in Celbridge Co. Kildare.
You will assume full responsibility for the day-to-day accounting activities as well as preparation of quarterly management accounts, liaising with the outsourced accountants and reporting directly to the managing director This role will suit someone who likes to work as a companies sole finance person, manage their own time day and desk whilst working in a family orientated company with a strong work life balance.
On site parking Strong work life balance, 35 hour working week Fulltime permanent Hybrid 2-3 days in office Simply a nice place to work Good to know Salary is DOE: €50,000 - €55,000.
Strong senior applicants may also be considered on a 4-day week basis should they wish.
Key Responsibilities for the Role: Ownership of general bookkeeping for the business Bank and Credit Card reconciliation.
Conduct regular bank reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
Management of payables and receivables.
Supplier and Customer invoicing.
Preparation of VAT/VIES/PAYE&PRSI returns.
Working knowledge of same a must.
Maintain essential paperwork for monthly, bi-monthly company returns in consultation with outsourced Accountants.
Preparation of journal entries, quarterly management accounts etc Processing of staff payroll Filing & Management: Organise and maintain filing systems meticulously.
RCT/ROS returns.
ROS online experience, submissions, My enquiries.
Person Specification & Qualifications required: Minimum of 4-8 years relevant bookkeeping and monthly management accounts is essential Ability to take sole ownership of accounting function whilst working with external accountants IATI or Accounting Qualification is a distinct advantage Strong communication skills Experience with accounting systems and excel Skills: bookeeper company accountant accounting technician assistant accountant Benefits: Work From Home Hybrid
