We are seeking an experienced Privacy Counsel to join our global Legal team at a top technology/marketplace company.
As a key advisor, you will provide strategic legal advice to various stakeholders including legal, product, engineering, and security teams across the globe.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Drive and lead compliance strategies for our global privacy program accounting for worldwide data privacy rules standards and regulations governing the collection and use of personal information.
* Partner with key stakeholders to reimagine and mature our program governance policies privacy risk management and related controls.
* Counsel product lawyers product managers and other business personnel on current and future privacy and privacy-adjacent laws regulatory guidance enforcement trends and other related guidelines as they apply to our business.
