With a large, modern fleet of light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot, we keep our customers moving faster and for longer.Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Dublin team and are now looking for a Workshop Controller to drive performance, efficiency, and customer excellence.The RoleYou will support the Workshop Manager and Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring productivity targets are achieved and operations run efficiently. Working closely with the Foreman, you will maximise the performance of Technicians and subcontractors while delivering a high standard of customer service in line with Net Promoter Score targets.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and review workshop diary bookings and order service kits to maximise efficiency and meet KPIsAllocate, manage, and close job cards, delegating where appropriateEnsure all completed work is compliant, signed off, and vehicles are roadworthyManage warranty processes in line with manufacturer requirements and timescalesWork with the Foreman to allocate work based on technician skillsetsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environmentManage subcontracted work to minimise downtime and control costs, including Loss of Use where applicableEscalate any internal or external VORs likely to exceed targetsCommunicate effectively with customers, providing updates on vehicles off the road longer than expectedMaintain accurate, real-time job statuses across all systemsEnsure Planned Maintenance, Compliance Events, Recalls, and Loan Days are delivered within targetsEffectively reschedule work to accommodate changing prioritiesWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar roleStrong IT skills including MS Office, databases, and OutlookFull clean driving licenceStrong attention to detailProfessional, customer-focused approachAbility to perform in a busy, high-pressure environmentStrong understanding of cost control and target deliveryExcellent multitasking and coordination skillsMechanical qualification or strong technical knowledgeExperience within the vehicle rental or fleet industrySupervisory or people management experienceWhat’s in it for you24 days holiday plus an additional day for your birthdayPension plan and life assuranceGroup discounted healthcareEmployee Assistance ProgrammeShare Save SchemeEmployee discounts and company privilege daysLong service awardsFree parking and great locationFamily-friendly policiesEnhanced annual leave with serviceThis is an opportunity to join a growing, industry-leading business where you can make a real impact within a busy and supportive team.
