The successful candidate will play a leading role in the provision of specialist echocardiography services within the Cardiology Department.
We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a range of exciting opportunities for career development and professional growth.

The Heart and Vascular Department provides a full range of cardiac non-invasive and invasive investigations and treatments, including ECG, exercise stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow-up clinics, transthoracic and transoesophageal echo, angiography, PCI, EP studies, and ablation; loop, pacemaker, and ICD implants.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide expertise in ECG, ambulatory monitoring, transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography in clinic and cath lab, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and exercise stress echoes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage own clinic workload efficiently and effectively
* Provide support and staff supervision according to department demands
* Deliver mentorship to junior staff with active involvement in staff training
* Manage clinical leadership within echocardiography and non-invasive testing to a high standard
* Contribute to clinical leadership within echocardiography and non-invasive testing
* Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent relevant scientific qualification
* Possess BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) or EACVI Accreditation
* Must have at least three years' post-qualification experience with one year's echocardiography experience
* Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high-volume workload
* Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team
* Strong communication skills
