We’re looking for a Construction Planning Engineer to join our ambitious, future-focused team at Strata. If you’re driven by engineering excellence, inspired by digital innovation, and ready to help shape the future of construction planning across Europe, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll play a key role in how projects are planned, tracked, and delivered, combining strong technical understanding with modern, data-driven tools and methods.
Responsibilities
* Create and manage detailed master construction programmes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
* Establish and maintain robust project controls procedures to track progress, performance, and productivity.
* Prepare and communicate clear progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
* Contribute to the development of method statements, supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
* Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and site teams to identify efficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Support the adoption and integration of digital tools, to drive project efficiencies.
Qualifications
* Degree-qualified in Engineering or Construction Management.
* >3 years’ relevant experience in the construction industry, experience with a main contractor is advantageous.
* Working knowledge of project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Interest or experience in digital construction
* Process-driven and analytical, with excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
* Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% across project locations.
* Must have the right to work full time in the EU.
