Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client's Children's Disability Network Team in North Dublin City & County.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist Occupational Therapy services to children and young people with complex disabilities, working closely with families and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children and young people with complex disabilities, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
* Delivering High-Quality Interventions: Provide expert Occupational Therapy interventions, including advice and education for children, families, and carers, to promote independence, participation, and well-being.
* Collaborative Care: Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to care, promoting seamless communication and coordination of services.
* Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members, supporting their professional development and ensuring high-quality patient care.
* Service Development: Participate in service development and quality improvement activities, contributing to the ongoing growth and enhancement of our Children's Disability Network Team.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification, recognized by CORU.
* Registration: Hold current CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with a strong background in paediatrics and experience working with children with complex disabilities.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including families and carers.
* Driving License: Full driving license is essential for this role.
