Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our installation team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and commissioning of solar PV systems, battery storage units, and EV charging points.
This role requires strong electrical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain solar PV systems, battery storage systems, and EV chargers.
Carry out electrical wiring, testing, fault-finding, and maintenance work on clients nationwide.
Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
Conduct site assessments and support project planning when required.
Complete installation documentation, testing certificates, and reports accurately.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
Follow all health & safety procedures on-site.
Requirements
Qualified Electrician with relevant certification/licensing.
Experience in solar PV, EV charging, or renewable energy installations preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Full clean driving licence.
Must have own van and tools.
Safe Pass / Manual Handling / Working at Heights certifications (preferred).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Knowledge of grid connections and inverter systems.
Familiarity with monitoring platforms and commissioning software.
Previous experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations.
