Responsibilities
Solution Development: Develop, configure, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, focusing on high‑quality code and robust automation that moves beyond simple task execution.
Core Engineering: Build and maintain custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flow orchestration.
AI Productivity: Implement AI‑driven efficiencies in the software development lifecycle, utilizing AI‑pair programming tools (e.g., CodeWhisperer) to accelerate code generation and unit testing.
Validation: Critically evaluate and validate AI‑generated outputs and configurations, ensuring technical accuracy and strict adherence to Yahoo security standards.
Technical Design: Translate user stories and functional requirements into detailed technical designs, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, UI/UX, and senior engineering leads to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with the long‑term product roadmap.
Operational Excellence: Monitor system performance, identify trends, and iterate on solutions to drive operational excellence and technical success.
Basic Qualifications
3–5+ years of B2B enterprise Salesforce CRM experience (Developer/Engineer), with a proven track record of delivering stable, scalable solutions.
Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) is required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in the Salesforce core stack: Apex (Triggers, Classes, Async), LWC, Flows, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Salesforce Data Model, Security Model (Sharing/Visibility), and Governor Limits.
Agile Experience: Demonstrated ability to work within an Agile/SCRUM environment, managing technical tasks and sprints effectively.
Execution: Proven ability to work independently in complex situations while maintaining high‑quality, production‑ready outputs.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer II or App Builder certifications.
Emerging Tech: Hands‑on experience or a strong interest in Agentforce, Prompt Engineering, or building custom "Agents" for business use cases.
AI Literacy: Experience integrating AI‑enabled workflows into business processes to improve productivity.
Global Teamwork: Experience with cross‑timezone collaboration in a global engineering organization.
Modern Tooling: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Copado, or Gearset) and modern development frameworks.
