Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon (LTTS)

LTTS is a world class provider of aero engine component repair services to airlines and engine overhaul shops around the world. At LTTS, we specialise in the repair of aircraft engine components for both high pressure and low pressure turbine engines. LTTS is part of the EPAR (Engine Parts & Accessories Repair) network of Lufthansa Technik. The Company was founded in 1992 and we employ over 200 people in our state of the art facility in Shannon.

All repairs are carried out in accordance with approvals of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon (LTTS) is licensed by General Electric and CFMI, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) of aircraft engines, to carry out repairs in accordance with their engine shop manuals, making LTTS unique as one of a small number of companies outside of the engine manufacturers who are licensed to carry out repairs. Our expertise and focus is on the repair of high pressure turbine (HPT) shrouds, high and low pressure turbine Nozzle Guide Vanes (HPT & LPT NGVs) from the CFM56 series, CF6-80C2 and CF34 type engines.

Job Title: Order Support Team Administrator

Reporting To: Team Leader

Terms: Permanent

Hours:

08.00am-16.30pm Mon - Thurs

08.00am-15.30pm Fri

With the potential for 2 cycle shift after a training period depending on training/operation requirements.

Overall Responsibility

Working as part of a dynamic team across a wide range of core support functions. Areas of influence include Materials, Inspections and Shipments. This is a duel function role involving the inspection and addition of consumable materials to ERP system as well as the shipment of end product to worldwide destinations.

Specific Accountabilities

Key tasks

· ERP transactions and packaging of end product allowing for the timely shipment of customer orders.

· Creation, Review & Upkeep of all applicable Shipping, Customs & Known Consignor related documents.

· Inspection of Incoming Materials, hardware and paperwork and the addition of same to ERP Systems.

· Working with suppliers and various in house teams to ensure that correct paperwork is in place for all materials in a timely manner. All materials must be available to meet OTP for ongoing customer programs.

Person Specification

· Previous Warehouse / Shipping experience is desired, ideally having previous exposure to and familiarity with Freight Shipping Platforms, Customs Requirements and Known Consignor Rules.

· Previous experience in an inspection role within a fast paced production environment is desirable

· The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

· Experience of working within a cross-functional team

· Ability to work in a pressurized environment with challenging daily time deadlines.

· Experience of working with an ERP system, material transactions, stock control or data sharing platforms.

· Knowledge of Lean Practices is desirable.

· The person should be experienced in Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

· The person should be highly motivated, pro-active, innovative, eager to learn and willing to take on responsibility as well as work on their own initiative.

· The person should also have a personable/approachable style as the role will require significant interaction with a cross section of LTTS departments.

· The role requires a high level of flexibility.
