Drinks Ireland represents beer, cider, Irish Whiskey, spirits and wine manufacturers, brand owners and distributors on the island of Ireland and is a sector trade association within Ibec. This is a maternity cover role available on a specified purpose contract.

About the Role
* Maximise engagement and influence by leading the development and execution of stakeholder mapping and measuring campaign achievements.
* Play a lead role in campaign management, communications, public affairs and media.
* Work effectively across Drinks Ireland membership, building relationships with stakeholders, ensuring strategy implementation is aligned and adaptable.
* Deliver co‑ordinated campaign strategies and workplans for each thematic area.
* Translate thematic objectives into deliverable campaigns that engage business and influence key stakeholders.
* Use technology and communication strategies to achieve objectives.
* Measure and track the impact of Drinks Ireland campaigns.
* Leverage existing structures and networks to deliver campaign priorities.
* Create engaging campaign content and messaging customised for different audiences.
* Design and deliver superb communication plans for each campaign.
* Build and maintain relationships on behalf of Drinks Ireland with members, prospective members and key stakeholders.
* Engage members so they are fully invested in campaigns.
* Collaboratively work across the organisation to deliver general account management and initiatives.
* Manage budgets as directed.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
* Primary degree.
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
* Ideally 5 years postgraduate experience.
* Demonstrated experience using a campaigning approach.
* Demonstrated ability to use a variety of communications tools to reach key audiences.
* Ability to generate new activities, messages and connections to advance stakeholder engagement strategy and evaluate effectiveness.
* Grassroots coalition‑building experience (advantageous).
* Knowledge of the alcohol sector (advantageous).
* Experience working with ad‑hoc and formal committees/working groups.
* Understanding of the business complexities of the alcohol industry considering social and health issues.
* Understanding of industry, EU and global context.
