The Role
As Night Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests during the overnight hours. You will assist with front-of-house duties, support the Bar Manager with end of night duties and Banqueting team with break down of rooms, and ensure all public areas are clean, secure, and ready for the following day.
This role is ideal for a responsible, proactive individual who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact for guests during night hours
* Support the Bar Manager with operational duties, including guest enquiries and requests
* Carry out security and safety checks, including fire walks and CCTV monitoring
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, corridors, and entrances
* Assist with room inspections, and late guest arrivals/departures as required
* Support banqueting team with room setups and breakdowns overnight
* Re setting of Breakfast room for morning after events.
* Respond promptly and professionally to any incidents, maintenance issues, or guest feedback
* Ensure smooth handover to day staff with clear notes and reports
* Maintain logbooks and records of all relevant activity during the shift
Candidates must have their own transport as this area is not serviced by public transport
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €14.50-€15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 39 per week
