Residential Care for Young People - A Challenging Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing care and support to young people in a residential setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, promoting the well-being and development of the young people, and supporting the management team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social care, with a Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, or Social Work. They will also have extensive experience working with young people, particularly in a residential care setting, and be familiar with Irish National Standards for Children's Residential Centres.
In addition to their technical skills and knowledge, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of staff members. They will also be required to hold a full, clean manual driver's license valid in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Manager in ensuring that the care delivered meets company policies and procedures, national regulations, and the needs of the young people.
* Oversee the daily operation of the residential service, including the planning, coordination, and delivery of care programs.
* Provide guidance and supervision to staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:
