This is a fast‑paced operational position focused on driving production, safety, performance, housekeeping, and team standards across a busy industrial environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable on the floor, leading people, solving problems quickly, and ensuring operations run safely and efficiently every day.About the RoleYou will work closely with operations, maintenance, transport, and compliance teams to support the day‑to‑day running of the production operation.ResponsibilitiesDriving daily production performance and operational efficiencyManaging staffing and labour allocationSupporting maintenance teams to minimise downtimeMonitoring throughput, contamination, and operational bottlenecksMaintaining strong housekeeping and safety standardsSupervising production staff, operators, and machine driversSupporting toolbox talks, training, and operational briefingsDriving accountability, standards, and team performanceSupporting continuous improvement across the operationEnsuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirementsQualificationsWe are interested in candidates coming from environments such as:ManufacturingQuarryingLogisticsHeavy Industrial OperationsProduction OperationsRequired SkillsPrevious supervisory or management experienceStrong operational and production awarenessExperience leading teams in a fast-moving environmentGood decision-making ability under pressureStrong communication and organisational skillsA practical and hands‑on leadership styleA strong focus on safety and operational standardsPreferred SkillsExperience within recycling or waste operations is beneficial but not essential.
