About the Position My client has multiple opportunities for Electronics Test & Debug Test Technicians to join their team in Cork.
The role reports to the Production Test Supervisor and supports production activities as required.
Key Responsibilities Use schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test products.
Use a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, (analogue, digital, power) to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems consisting of passive components to FPGAs and microprocessors.
Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
Other responsibilities include: Assist in Technician Training, knowledge sharing and Product familiarisation.
Completion of all necessary test related documentation including yield reporting and non-conformance Data.
Maintain accurate records of test results and other production-related documentation.
Adherence to all necessary requirements relating to Personal tool maintenance, Antistatic precautions, FOD, Safety and Housekeeping Experience/Requirements General Requirements: Applicants should possess a minimum level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
Applicants should have at least two years of experience, preferably in an ISO9001 or equivalent regulated environment.
