This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role
As a Sales Manager at Udemy, you'll lead a talented and engaged sales team focused on the Commercial segment (200–999 employee companies) across EMEA. Reporting to the Senior Director of EMEA Commercial Sales, you'll be a key member of the Udemy Business Sales Management team.
You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on leadership, helping your team grow revenue, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and scale the business. What you'll be doing
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team serving Commercial customers across France and the Southern European region within EMEA.
* Grow and scale sales in the region by setting ambitious goals, developing strategies, and driving execution.
* Coach team members on the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline building to negotiation and closing.
* Forecast pipeline and revenue accurately on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
* Hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent to support future growth.
* Partner cross-functionally with Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations to align strategy and drive business outcomes.
* Use data and performance insights to identify opportunities for improvement and celebrate success.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, high-energy sales culture that values collaboration, accountability, and growth.
* Ensure an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the sales process.
What you'll have
* 4+ years of sales management experience in a B2B environment, ideally within SaaS or technology.
* Proven record of quota attainment as both an individual contributor and a sales manager.
* Strong understanding of SaaS business models, forecasting, and pipeline management.
* Demonstrated ability to hire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales talent.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with executive presence.
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in Salesforce and modern sales tech tools.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

* Languages - Fluency in French, Italian or Spanish
