Research and Development Project Manager
About the Role:
* Provide technical leadership and take ownership of critical tasks in new product development projects.
* Liaise with key opinion leaders to develop a deep understanding of the disease state, gather user needs; and articulate throughout the team.
* Translate needs into technical specifications.
* Foster a culture of innovation; generate creative solutions to address unmet needs.
* Lead the team in developing test models for prototype evaluations, building and testing prototypes, test data analysis and interpretation, component and device assembly drawings/specifications, material selection, and process development.
* Identify and manage key technical risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Program Management Responsibilities:
* Develop project goals, plans, and strategies.
* Define project priorities and manage direct teams and cross-functional teams to deliver on performance, time, and cost targets.
* Manage program risks and report progress across the organisation.
* Leverage external resources to achieve project goals.
* Manage projects according to quality systems.
