Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking qualified Electricians to install & commission domestic Solar PV systems. This position will be based out of our Carrickmacross location in Co. Monaghan.

The Opportunity
As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.
Responsibilities Include
* Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe Electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
* Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
* Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
* Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
* Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
* Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience.
* Live within a commutable distance of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
* Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
* Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
* Valid driver's license.
