About the Role
Samson Media is seeking a motivated and experienced
Sales and Marketing Manager
with a
strong background
in the Irish education sector.
This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven start-up and play a pivotal role in the nationwide rollout of a resource that supports the wellbeing, relationships, and personal development of thousands of young people in Irish schools.
**What We're Looking For
Essential:**
* A strong understanding of how schools in Ireland operate — including decision-making structures and curriculum planning.
* Prior experience working in or closely with schools, school leaders, or educational organisations.
* A proven track record in sales, marketing, account management, or outreach — ideally within education, publishing, EdTech, or youth services.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
* Confidence presenting — both online and in person.
* Self-driven, well organised, and comfortable working independently in a start-up environment.
* A genuine interest in education, mental health, and youth development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with school decision-makers across all post-primary schools in Ireland.
* Lead targeted outreach campaigns, deliver virtual product demos, and conduct school visits.
* Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to subscription sign-up and onboarding.
* Collaborate with the project manager and founder on strategic targeting and campaign design.
* Support pilot programmes, gather school feedback, and represent the company at education events.
* Maintain accurate records of outreach, KPIs, and performance metrics.
