Overview
Spectrum is looking for Full-time / Part-time Podiatrists to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in our clinics in Dublin. The FTE for this role is €45,000-€75,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to €100,000 with commission. We are very flexible in hours so can work around your schedule!

Responsibilities
* Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verrucas, corns, calluses, etc.
* Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clipping toenails and general feet tidy up
* Treat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease who require preventative care and assistance
* Determine the condition of a patient’s feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing medical history, listening to concerns, and performing a physical examination
* Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams, and other methods
* Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, such as prescribing orthotics to improve and correct foot and ankle deformities
* Give advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques
* Educate patients on how to improve and/or manage conditions
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, Physios and other members of multidisciplinary teams, to exchange information about patient background and progress; refer patients to other physicians or specialists if larger health problems are detected (e.g., diabetes)
* Meet continuous education requirements and maintain an up to date CPD folder
* Write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics; manage payments and issue receipts
* Place stock orders and log repairs
* In some cases, supervise student and junior podiatrists and enhance teaching skills
* Manage clinical risk and have excellent infection control awareness
* Be caring, compassionate and professional and always have the patient at the core of everything you do
* Help with creating blogs and content for social media and other marketing channels
* Work with the marketing team and provide on the ground feedback from time to time
Qualifications
* BSc OR MSc in Podiatry (essential)
* CORU registration (essential)
* Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) (essential)
* Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
* Private practice experience (preferred)
* New grads welcome
